This term

When we run

Classes start in January, April and September. Book early — places fill quickly and we keep groups to twelve people so everyone gets real attention at the wheel.

Beginners Wheel-Throwing

No experience needed. We'll give you everything: clay, tools, glaze, a shelf in our kiln. Just show up with curiosity.

Beginners Wheel-Throwing

Same course as Monday evenings. Six weeks, one session per week. Perfect for anyone who's always wondered what it feels like to throw.

Open Studio Evening

For members and returning students. Your own space at the wheel, access to our clay and glazes. Work on what you want at your own pace.

Weekend Intensive

A longer session for beginners who want to dive deeper. Three hours at the wheel, same supportive group setting, one session per week for six weeks.

Open Studio Afternoon

Members' time on the studio floor. All tools, clay and kiln shelf space included in your membership.
How we structure the year

Terms and joining

Six-week courses

Our beginners wheel-throwing course runs for six weeks, one class per week. Terms start in January, April and September. Places are reserved when you book, and mid-term joining isn't possible — we keep the group together from week one so you're never the person catching up.

Year-round access

Taster sessions and studio memberships run all year, so you can get started anytime. Members book open studio sessions individually or by the month, and you'll have your own shelf space in the kiln for whatever you're working on.

Beyond taught classes

Open studio for members

Our studio floor is open to members outside of taught sessions. Work independently, experiment with new techniques, and use our kilns to fire your pieces.

Afternoon to evening

Flexible entry point. Drop in anytime within the window, work at your own pace.

Morning studio time

A quieter slot, good for focused work or experimenting with glazes.

Weekend studio access

The whole studio floor is yours. Kiln is loaded and firing throughout the month.

Places are limited

We keep our beginners courses to twelve people so you're never lost in a crowd. You'll get real attention at the wheel, one-to-one help when you need it, and a shelf in the kiln for your work.

That size also means places fill up quickly, especially for evening slots and weekend intensives. If you're interested, check the booking page today — it shows exactly what's available and lets you reserve your spot.
